Terms of Service
Este documento está disponible en inglés, chino simplificado y chino tradicional. A continuación se muestra la versión en inglés, que es la que se aplica.
These terms apply to your use of the Real time translator extension, this website and the related cloud services (the “service”). The service is provided by Real time translator (ABN 42 790 625 435), a business registered in Australia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
1. The service
The Free plan provides on-device translation in your browser. The one-time trial and Pro provide features that need cloud processing (subtitles, speech, images, documents and more). Machine translation and text recognition can make mistakes; check the original for anything important.
2. Your account
You need an email address you can receive mail at. One account per person. We may stop the trial or the service for accounts created in bulk to obtain trials, or that are shared or resold.
3. Subscriptions, prices and quota
- Pro is billed monthly or yearly at the price shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase, and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Each plan includes a shared cloud quota. Monthly and yearly plans include the same quota for each month; yearly plans release it month by month on your subscription date and it can’t be used in advance. Unused quota does not roll over.
- Pro is not unlimited. When the quota is used up we never charge extra; cloud features pause until the next reset, and web text switches to on-device translation.
- Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates) as Merchant of Record. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
- If we change the price of Pro, we will tell you by email before your next renewal at the new price, and you can cancel before then.
4. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use the service for unlawful content or content that infringes others’ rights, and don’t automate bulk requests or try to get around quota limits. To keep the service stable we may rate-limit or pause unusual usage.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change the underlying providers or models to maintain quality and cost. If we make a material change to these terms that is not in your favour, we will give you reasonable notice.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by translation errors or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time on your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. This does not take away consumer protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.
